Coast Guard Family Photography

This wonderful Coast Guard family session comes to us from Julie Campbell Photography!   Here are a few words about the session:

This particular session took place on the actual day that the father was leaving for a six month deployment. We met at a park that was not particularly picturesque nor was it great time for lighting. Naturally it was an emotional time for these 4 young children and their mother (who chose not to be photographed). They would not stay off of their father. The session took only about 20 minutes or less because of the crazy energy of the children. Their mom told me over and over again how much she appreciated these images of her favorite people during those 6 months while her husband was gone. I love photographing military families. I can say over and over again how much I appreciate their sacrifice, but I love that I can give them just a little something to help them hang onto their loved ones while they are gone.

Featured Post | Julie Campbell Photography - [...] Katie from the Rally Point Blog contacted me after seeing some of my images on Pinterest. She was kind enough to feature one of my military sessions from way back in 2009 on her blog.  I always find it an honor to photograph military families.  You can see the post here. [...]
